In the pharmaceutical industry, there is an ongoing
shift of R&D work to Asia, increased competition from
generic drug manufacturers and increasing pressure to

Co-Innovation Lab in Singapore, opened in 2011. In

based on tangible business needs. They track technology trends and create proof-of-concepts for applied

These will then, in turn, bring new ideas in the form of
technology and knowledge to the market. Examples of
mobile applications that have already been developed
and implemented include a mobile application that
monitors lab instruments, a mobile migraine diary, and
a glucose and lifestyle recorder. Eli Lilly is excited
